About Biletnikoff Foundation:
Biletnikoff Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting youth, primarily from low to moderate-income neighborhoods or backgrounds, who are “at risk,” particularly to the realities of drug and alcohol addiction, domestic and gender violence, and human trafficking. The mission of the Biletnikoff Foundation is to commemorate Tracey Biletnikoff’s life and her untimely death and to enable young people to realize their full potential through the support of community and education programs that effectively address the related problems of substance abuse and gender violence. The Foundation organizes and hosts annual fundraising and awareness events, including the Hall of Fame Invitational each spring, and the Relay for Life and the Biletnikoff Foundation Crab Fest in the autumn months.
Tracey’s Place of Hope in Loomis, California was inspired by Tracey herself who had dreamed of such a place specifically for young girls dealing with addictions. The home became a reality in year 2000 through the Biletnikoff Foundation’s partnership with Koinonia Homes for Teens, one specifically for adolescent girls ages 14-17 with mental health and substance abuse problems. The Biletnikoff Foundation with the work of its partners, supporters, and fundraising efforts, achieved its milestone to give Tracey’s Place of Hope an extensive, residential $500,000 remodel. Next door to this facility, the Foundation is extending ground on a counseling/activity center, to manage recovery, mental and emotional health issues, as well as teach residents the necessary skills to live independently.
